What is DTC Brain?

DTC Brain is a digital knowledge center for all things Direct to Consumer and Commerce, built on Roam Research. I set out to build this database as a means toward writing a book on Direct to Consumer but quickly realized that I was building something much broader and more dynamic.

Why Subscribe?

DTC Brain is somewhat of a ‘digital garden’. Like it’s physical predecessor, a digital garden grows and changes organically. It is not static, like a book, article, or essay. Topics evolve — some grow — others shrink. Ideas once held sacred become stale and obsolete. These ideas are pruned back to make room for new concepts and perspective to take their place.

Synapse is the weekly email extension of DTC Brain. Each week, a new topic will be surfaced with some insights, resources, and perspectives as well as a rundown of various other DTC Brain updates during the week

Self Study

The DTC Brain database itself will also be public to all Substack subscribers. This will allow readers to dig in deeper on any topic that interests them, and any other tangential topics.
